Writing Roundup
I had a post planned for this month - more on how AI is (and is not) changing the ghostwriting industry - but I decided to see if I could pitch that to an external publication first. I may still share that here, but I thought, while I waited to hear back from the editor on that piece, I’d share a bit more of my recent writing.
I’ve had a few articles published recently on a variety of topics - writing, anti-racism and parenting:
“AI Has Made Me a Better Writer, but not by Writing.” This piece for Writer’s Digest shares how I’ve used AI to improve my writing - but not through its generative language features.
“Beyond Virtue-Signaling: Race and Parenting.” This piece is in the newly-launched Libertroph Magazine, which is a journal about white anti-racism organizing . I was honored to be a part of the inaugural issue!
“The Curse of the Slacker Dad.” Another piece on parenting for
MENQUILIBRIUM.
In big news for me, personally, I also got my first piece of fiction published in over a decade! You can read that over at Dark Harbor Magazine. I’m super excited to have this story out there.
I’ve also included a few pieces I worked on for my clients. I hope you enjoy!
“After 160 Years of Waiting, Guaranteed Income Can Deliver on the Promise of Reparations,” Newsweek
“3 ways philanthropic organizations can help build trust,” Fast Company
“The US is No Longer One of the Most Competitive Economies - Here’s What That Means for Business Owners,” LinkedIn
Finally, a book I edited came out this week - Rainy Day Economics, by Joesph Plummer. It’s a great read for anyone interested in the future of sustainability. I was also on Joe’s podcast recently - you can check that out here.
